Assistant Conference and Banqueting Manager Job – Dublin – €30k

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Conference and Banqueting Manager in West Dublin. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in a C & B department of a 4* hotel is desirable. This is a hands on role, that will require someone with great organisation skills and the ability to lead a team.

Will have previous Conference & Banqueting experience
The Role:
You will report to The Conference & Banqueting Manager and will ensure all guests needs are met
Will organise and co-ordinate all events in the function rooms in line with function sheets
You will liaise with group organisers during their event
Follow up with the sales team or guests with regard to any pre-event queries
Will organise all necessary equipment for events from stores, laundry, florist and any outside hire
Will manage and supervise the food and beverage service in the function rooms, ensuring delivery of excellent standards
Follow up on any queries from guests ensuring the relevant personnel are made aware
Co-ordination of staff for all events in the function rooms ensuring payroll costs are kept to a minimum
Ensure maintenance issues are reported and followed up
