MyJobs.ie is pleased to present an exciting senior management opportunity for an experienced Head of Business Planning & Reporting based in Roscommon.

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished professional to lead business planning, corporate performance reporting and strategic financial analysis across the organisation.

The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting executive decision-making, strengthening organisational performance and ensuring that business objectives are supported by robust planning, accurate reporting and effective governance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of annual business plans, operational budgets and long-term strategic forecasts.

Oversee corporate performance reporting, management information and executive dashboards.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators across business functions.

Provide senior leadership with detailed financial and operational analysis.

Coordinate business planning activities across departments, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Identify performance gaps, operational risks and opportunities for improved efficiency.

Develop forecasting models, scenario analysis and performance measurement frameworks.

Ensure reporting processes meet internal governance, regulatory and compliance requirements.

Lead and develop a high-performing business planning and reporting team.

Present strategic recommendations and performance updates to executive management and board-level stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate:

A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Economics or a related discipline.

At least seven years’ relevant experience, including senior management responsibilities.

Strong expertise in business planning, financial forecasting and corporate performance reporting.

Advanced analytical capabilities and experience with Excel, Power BI and enterprise reporting systems.

Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience developing management reporting frameworks and performance improvement programmes.

A relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent would be advantageous.
