MyJobs is seeking experienced Biotech & Pharmaceutical Project Managers for a number of exciting opportunities based in Castlebar, County Mayo.

These roles offer experienced project professionals the opportunity to work within a highly regulated life sciences environment, supporting the successful delivery of important biotech and pharmaceutical projects while ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, safety and operational performance.

The Opportunity

Successful candidates will take responsibility for managing projects from initial planning through implementation, validation and final delivery. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and in accordance with applicable pharmaceutical and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage biotech and pharmaceutical projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and delivery milestones.
• Ensure projects comply with GMP, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, validation, quality and technical teams.
• Monitor project risks, costs, resources and schedules.
• Manage contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.
• Support qualification, commissioning and validation activities.
• Ensure change controls and quality procedures are appropriately managed.
• Drive continuous improvement throughout project delivery.

Candidate Specification

Candidates should have a relevant qualification in Engineering, Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, Project Management or a related discipline, together with proven project management experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device or another regulated manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of GMP, validation, quality systems and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.

Excellent communication, leadership, organisational and stakeholder-management skills are essential.
