The Opportunity

MyJobs is currently seeking two experienced Financial Analysts for opportunities based in Kensington, London.

These roles will suit commercially focused finance professionals with strong analytical skills who can turn complex financial information into clear insights to support business planning and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

• Prepare detailed financial analysis, forecasts and management reports.
• Analyse revenue, expenditure, margins and overall business performance.
• Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models.
• Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities.
• Undertake variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare dashboards, presentations and reports for senior management.
• Analyse large datasets and provide clear commercial recommendations.
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting.
• Work closely with finance and operational teams to improve financial performance and controls.

Candidate Specification

Candidates should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a Financial Analyst, Commercial Analyst, FP&A or similar role.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with financial reporting and data analysis systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues.

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, ERP or financial planning systems would be an advantage.

Professional accounting qualifications, or candidates currently progressing towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, are also desirable.
