The Opportunity

The successful candidate will play an important role in the assessment, planning, delivery and review of clinical care and support. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure that individuals receive appropriate, evidence-based interventions tailored to their particular needs.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include carrying out clinical assessments, developing individual care and intervention plans, monitoring outcomes and maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation.

The Clinical Specialist will liaise with medical, nursing, therapy and other healthcare professionals and will provide professional advice and support to colleagues, individuals and families where appropriate.

The role will also involve contributing to service development, quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance and the implementation of best practice.

Candidate Specification

Applicants should hold an appropriate recognised healthcare or clinical qualification relevant to their area of practice.

Candidates should have relevant professional experience and, where applicable, hold current registration with the appropriate Irish professional regulatory body.

Strong clinical assessment, communication, organisational and report-writing skills are essential. Applicants should also demonstrate an ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.

Previous experience within hospital, community, disability, rehabilitation or specialist healthcare services would be advantageous.
