The Opportunity

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced psychologist, or a suitably qualified professional seeking the next stage of their career, to join a progressive multidisciplinary environment delivering high-quality psychological assessment, intervention and support.

The successful candidate will work closely with individuals, families and other healthcare professionals, providing evidence-based psychological services tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments and formulate appropriate treatment and intervention plans.
• Deliver evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions.
• Manage an agreed caseload while maintaining the highest professional and clinical standards.
• Prepare professional reports, assessments and clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide advice and guidance to families, carers and other professionals where appropriate.
• Participate in case conferences, clinical meetings and service planning.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with professional and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of psychological services.
• Maintain continuing professional development and remain informed of developments in psychological practice.

Candidate Specification

Applicants should possess:

• A recognised postgraduate qualification in Psychology appropriate to the role.
• Eligibility for relevant professional registration or membership in Ireland.
• Appropriate clinical or professional experience.
• Strong assessment, therapeutic and communication skills.
• An ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent interpersonal and report-writing skills.
• A strong commitment to person-centred, evidence-based practice.

Desirable Experience

Experience within healthcare, mental health, disability, community, educational or related psychological services would be an advantage.

Candidates with experience working within multidisciplinary teams and delivering structured psychological interventions are particularly encouraged to apply.

Role Details

This position is based in Blackrock, Dublin, with an attractive remuneration package available depending on qualifications and experience.
