BNY Set to Create Hundreds of New Jobs in Dublin
Major financial services expansion provides a significant boost to Ireland’s employment market
BNY, one of the world’s largest financial services companies, is preparing to create hundreds of new jobs in Dublin as part of a significant expansion of its Irish operations.
The company is seeking to increase its footprint in Ireland by approximately 30%, according to a report by the Business Post. The expansion represents another important vote of confidence in Dublin as an international centre for financial services, technology and professional services.
BNY already has a substantial presence in Ireland, employing more than 1,000 people, and has recently moved into The Shipping Office development in Dublin. The new office has capacity for more than 1,300 BNY employees.
The recruitment programme is expected to provide opportunities across a broad range of disciplines. Current BNY recruitment in Dublin includes positions in technology and software engineering, data science, financial crime and compliance, fund and client accounting, credit risk, corporate trust, client services and product management, as well as graduate and early-career opportunities.
For professionals considering their next career move, the scale and variety of the proposed expansion could make BNY one of the more significant financial-services recruiters in Dublin over the coming period.
