The Opportunity

MyJobs is inviting applications from experienced medical specialists for a Consultant Endocrinologist position within a leading private hospital environment in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Endocrinologist to join a high-quality clinical setting and provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment to patients across a broad range of endocrine and metabolic conditions.

The successful candidate will work alongside multidisciplinary clinical teams while contributing to the continued development of specialist endocrinology services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultations, diagnosis and treatment for endocrine conditions.
• Manage patients with complex hormonal and metabolic disorders.
• Provide specialist care across areas including thyroid, pituitary, adrenal and metabolic disease.
• Support the diagnosis and management of diabetes where appropriate.
• Develop individualised treatment and follow-up plans.
• Request and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records.
• Participate in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement.
• Maintain the highest standards of patient safety and clinical care.
• Contribute to the development of specialist endocrine services.

Candidate Specification

Candidates should have:

• A recognised medical qualification.
• Specialist training and substantial experience in Endocrinology.
• Appropriate specialist registration and eligibility to practise medicine in the UK.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent patient communication and multidisciplinary working abilities.
• A strong commitment to clinical governance and high-quality patient care.

Previous experience within private healthcare or a major specialist hospital environment would be advantageous.
