The Opportunity

MyJobs is inviting applications from experienced finance professionals for a Financial Controller position based in Berlin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished finance professional to take responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls within a dynamic international environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, providing accurate financial information and commercial insight to support effective decision-making and continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Monitor cash flow, expenditure and financial performance.
• Produce management accounts and financial analysis.
• Maintain strong internal financial controls.
• Coordinate audit and year-end requirements.
• Monitor performance against budgets and identify variances.
• Support tax, compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
• Improve financial processes, reporting systems and controls.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior management.
• Liaise with external auditors, advisers and other professional partners.

Candidate Specification

Candidates should ideally have:

• A recognised professional accounting qualification or relevant finance degree.
• Strong financial control, reporting and budgeting experience.
• Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Previous experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.

Experience working within an international or multinational environment would be advantageous. German and English language capabilities would also be beneficial.
