The Opportunity

MyJobs is currently seeking three talented Machine Learning Engineers for exciting opportunities based in Galway.

These roles offer experienced technology professionals the opportunity to work on the design, development and deployment of advanced machine learning solutions in a highly innovative environment.

The successful candidates will work across the machine learning lifecycle, developing models and helping transform them into reliable, scalable, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions.
• Build and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines.
• Work with large and complex datasets, including data preparation and feature engineering.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable Python code.
• Evaluate and improve model accuracy, reliability and performance.
• Deploy and monitor machine learning models in production environments.
• Work with cloud-based infrastructure and modern MLOps practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automation and model lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data specialists and other technical professionals.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI and machine learning technologies.

Skills & Experience

Candidates should ideally have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Practical experience developing machine learning models.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or equivalent technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms and production ML environments.
• Understanding of APIs, software engineering principles and version control.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD environments would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience in areas including computer vision, generative AI, large language models, deep learning, distributed systems or MLOps would also be highly regarded.
