The Opportunity

MyJobs is inviting applications from experienced commercial professionals for a Sales Manager position within the FMCG sector in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven sales professional to take responsibility for developing customer relationships, growing revenues and delivering ambitious commercial targets within a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

The successful candidate will combine strong sales leadership with excellent commercial awareness and an understanding of the Irish FMCG marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales plans to deliver revenue and growth targets.
• Manage and develop relationships with key customers and accounts.
• Identify new business and market opportunities.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing and promotional activity.
• Monitor sales performance, margins and market trends.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets and regular sales reports.
• Work closely with marketing, operations and supply-chain teams.
• Lead customer presentations and commercial negotiations.
• Develop strong long-term relationships across the FMCG sector.
• Ensure agreed sales and commercial objectives are achieved.

Candidate Specification

Candidates should ideally have:

• Previous sales or commercial experience within the FMCG sector.
• A strong record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Strong commercial and analytical abilities.
• Experience managing key accounts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Previous experience in a Sales Manager, National Account Manager, Key Account Manager or similar FMCG commercial role would be particularly relevant.
