Accountants – 2 Roles

MyJobs is currently seeking two experienced Accountants for opportunities based in Singapore. These roles offer an excellent opportunity for finance professionals who want to develop their careers in one of Asia’s leading international business and financial centres.

The Opportunity

The successful candidates will support day-to-day financial operations, reporting, compliance and financial controls. Working closely with senior management and other business functions, you will help ensure accurate financial information is available to support effective commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with statutory reporting, audits and tax requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse financial performance and identify variances.
• Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.
• Work with management on improving financial processes and reporting.

Candidate Specification

Candidates should hold a recognised degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with relevant professional accounting experience.

Applicants should have strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles, excellent numerical and analytical skills, and experience using accounting or ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills are highly desirable.

Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA Singapore or an equivalent internationally recognised qualification will be advantageous.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment are essential.

Role Details

These are two full-time positions based in Singapore. Competitive remuneration packages will be available and will reflect qualifications and experience.
