The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone who specialises in turning online ideas into reality — taking concepts from the initial conversation through design, development and ultimately to a fully functioning digital product.

Our client is looking for a developer who combines strong technical ability with creativity and commercial awareness. You should be comfortable taking an idea, understanding what the organisation wants to achieve and developing an effective, attractive and user-friendly online solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive websites and digital platforms.

• Transform concepts and business ideas into practical online solutions.

• Build clean, fast and user-friendly web experiences across desktop and mobile.

• Work with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

• Develop and integrate back-end functionality, databases and APIs.

• Work with CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar systems.

• Integrate AI tools, payment solutions and third-party services where required.

• Test, troubleshoot and optimise websites for speed, security and performance.

• Manage projects from initial concept through development, testing and launch.

• Recommend new technologies and innovative digital solutions.

Candidate Specification

Applicants should have proven experience in web development and a strong portfolio demonstrating completed projects. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and database technologies is highly desirable, alongside experience with modern frameworks and content management systems.

Experience integrating AI-powered functionality, APIs, automation or e-commerce solutions would be a significant advantage.
