MyJobs.ie is inviting applications from qualified and experienced Electricians for three positions based in County Kerry.

Our client is seeking skilled professionals to undertake electrical installation, maintenance, testing and repair work across a range of projects. These opportunities will suit electricians who demonstrate strong technical expertise, reliability and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Carry out electrical wiring, fault finding and diagnostic testing.
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Install distribution boards, lighting systems, power circuits and associated equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Irish electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct inspections, testing and preventative maintenance.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.

Candidate Specification

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Recognised electrical trade qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in domestic, commercial or industrial electrical installations.
• Knowledge of Irish electrical standards, including I.S. 10101.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.
• Full driving licence, preferably Category B.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with renewable energy installations, including solar PV.
• Familiarity with energy-efficient electrical technologies.
• Previous experience working on large construction or refurbishment projects.
• Testing and inspection qualifications.
• Safe Electric registration where applicable to the duties.
