MyJobs.ie is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Consultant Endocrinologists for a specialist medical opportunity based in Dublin City Centre.

This position offers an opportunity for an experienced medical professional to deliver high-quality endocrine care, working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a modern clinical environment.

The successful candidate will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and management of patients presenting with a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary diseases.

Deliver specialist outpatient consultations and ongoing patient care.

Develop individualised treatment plans based on clinical evidence and best practice.

Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing teams and allied healthcare professionals.

Interpret complex endocrine investigations and diagnostic results.

Support clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Contribute to medical education, research and professional development.

Candidate Specification

Applicants should demonstrate:

Primary medical qualification recognised by the Irish Medical Council.

Registration, or eligibility for registration, on the Specialist Division of the Irish Medical Council in Endocrinology and Diabetes Mellitus.

Significant clinical experience in endocrinology and general internal medicine.

Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making and patient management skills.

Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.

Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous professional development.

Desirable Experience

Experience in specialist diabetes services, thyroid clinics, metabolic bone disease or complex endocrine investigations would be particularly advantageous.

Previous consultant-level experience within Irish, UK or internationally recognised healthcare systems will also be considered.
